Although the mission wasn't complete yet, Zhao Feng decided to rest. His stamina had been drained, and there was no point in risking his life just to hit a number.

With a calm mind, he prepared to move to the next floor.

But just as he was about to leave his hunting ground, a commotion on the third floor caught his attention.

His eyes sharpened, and in the next instant, his body turned into flickering bolts of lightning, vanishing from view.

He arrived at the auditorium, the source of the noise.

Hiding within the shadows, Zhao Feng peered inside—and was stunned by what he saw.

A group of around fifteen students—eight men and seven women—were locked in fierce combat against more than seventeen wolf monsters.

What caught Zhao Feng's attention wasn't just the enemy's numbers—but how well-coordinated the humans were.

They moved as a single unit, disciplined and precise. Their formation was tight, no panic, no recklessness. Their level of teamwork surprised even Zhao Feng.

Among them, one woman stood out from the rest.

Her hair was tied in a fiery ponytail, its orange-red hue glowing like flames in the darkness.

Zhao Feng recognized her slightly—one of the school beauties alongside Xiao Yuyan.

Her name was Yan Qinran, captain of the Taekwondo Club.

Beautiful and fierce, her eyes blazed with unwavering determination as she faced two wolf monsters at once.

Her left leg ignited in flames, scorching the air around her.

When her foot slammed into the first wolf, its thick fur and flesh instantly melted, leaving the beast screaming in agony.

"AUUUMM—!!"

Her movements were agile, dodging claws and fangs with practiced ease.

"Hey—"

With a final strike, she kicked the jaw of the second wolf.

Her burning leg pierced through flesh and shattered bone. The monster collapsed with a gruesome crack.

Zhao Feng watched with deep admiration.

This girl wasn't just a fighter—she was a force of nature.

...

Unnoticed by the others, a smaller wolf monster stood apart.

Weaker in size—but its eyes were colder, more calculating than the rest.

It blended in with the chaos, waiting for the perfect moment.

And then—it vanished like a shadow.

In a flash, it reappeared behind a young man who was still fighting another monster.

The others froze in horror, eyes wide with dread.

Even Yan Qinran's confident face turned pale, her expression filled with fear.

She and the others screamed at the boy.

But time seemed to slow.

No sound reached his ears.

The young man's eyes showed acceptance.

He smiled faintly—just before the end.

His lips moved silently.

His final words.

His teammates' eyes welled up, understanding what he said.

"Thank you."

Sraaatt—

With a sickening sound, his body was torn into three, crumpling like a rag doll.

"NO—!!"

Yan Qinran's scream was filled with rage.

Her entire body erupted into flames.

With terrifying speed, she appeared beside the shadowy wolf.

Her expression was murderous, and her body burned with blood-red fire.

Her long leg rose into the air, engulfed in scorching flames.

Everyone could feel the suffocating heat and pressure in the air.

Her blazing foot slammed into the monster's back.

CRACK!!

Her fiery strike tore through flesh, crushed bones, and obliterated the creature's insides.

The wolf howled in its final moments.

"AUUU—!!"

SPLAT!!

Its skull was stomped into the ground under Yan Qinran's heel.

Blood and brain matter splattered across the floor.

The flames on her leg sizzled as they vaporized the blood.

The wolf's head lowered in death, its gaze forever fixed on its fallen comrade.

Slowly, Yan Qinran raised her face—expression dark and deadly.

She glared at the remaining wolves, her eyes burning with killing intent.

The remaining monsters tensed up.

Several instinctively stepped back.

Their furry bodies trembled, tails twitching with fear.

Their wild instincts screamed: danger.

They were no longer hunters—they had become prey.

With just a single step forward, she declared—

"I want you all dead!Join my comrade in hell!"
