Jin and Leon arrived at the school gate. The morning was cloudy, the wind carrying a metallic scent of rain, and Jin walked with his hands in his pockets, his face serious. Leon walked beside him, adjusting his jacket — both of them radiating a heavy aura, like predators entering their territory.
The school felt different since last week. The hallway whispers always mentioned Jin's name — the guy who had faced the bullies and walked away untouched. But that morning, the atmosphere was even heavier.
As they passed the courtyard, they heard shouting. A group of four guys had cornered two girls near the wall. One of the bullies yanked a girl's hair while another tried to force her to hand over her phone. The other two laughed and filmed with their phones.
Leon clenched his fists.
— Those bastards again…
Jin didn't answer. His gaze turned cold, his jaw tightened. He took a few steps forward and threw his backpack on the ground, grabbing their attention.
— Hey — he called out, his voice sharp. — Let her go.
The four turned around, recognizing Jin. The leader of the group, a tall, muscular guy named Jinhwan, smirked.
— Well, well, the school's new tough guy. You wanna play too, pretty boy?
Before Jin could reply, Leon stepped up beside him and spat:
— You're gonna learn what happens when you mess with women in front of us.
Without warning, Jin moved. His feet were fast, his body propelled with insane strength. He delivered a spinning kick to the face of one of the bullies filming, sending him flying into the school gate. The guy collapsed, unconscious.
Jinhwan tried to punch Jin, but he dodged by leaning his body back in an almost superhuman move and countered with a punch to the gut, followed by a kick to the chin that lifted the guy off the ground and smashed him against the wall.
Leon grabbed another by the collar, spun him around, and hurled him against a metal trash can, the impact echoing through the courtyard.
— You piece of shit. Acting tough with women? Try with a real man, asshole.
The last bully ran, but Jin intercepted him with an acrobatic jump, landing right in front of him.
— Where do you think you're going?
With a sweeping kick, he dropped the guy. Before he could get up, Jin planted a knee into his chest and landed two punches to his face, blood splattering.
The crowd watched in silence, some recording, others frozen in shock. No one had ever seen such brutality at school. Jin slowly got up, panting, his eyes cold as ice.
The girls who had been attacked were crying but looked at Jin with relief. He turned away and motioned to Leon.
— Let's go.
Leon nodded, stepping on the unconscious guy's chest as he passed.
— This is just the beginning.
The two of them walked down the hallway. Other students cleared a path, and the whispers spread.
"He's even more violent now."
"Jin turned into a monster after he started training with Seo Mira."
In class, even the teachers didn't try to intervene. No one dared cross their path.
During the break, Jin sat on the rooftop, the wind blowing hard. Leon showed up with two cans of soda.
— At this rate, this school's gonna be yours. — Leon chuckled. — Nobody's got the balls to mess with you now.
Jin cracked open the can, took a sip, and looked at the horizon.
— And this is just the start, Leon. Pretty soon, I'll have every piece of trash under my foot.
Leon smirked.
— I'm with you till the end, boss.
Jin closed his eyes for a moment, feeling the adrenaline still coursing through his blood. Every fight, every terrified look from others… it was becoming addictive.
