Chapter 6 - chapter 6 kyran

Kael called for Rin.

Seated casually on his throne-like chair, Kael didn't even glance at Rin when he entered.

"You're royalty," Kael said, bored. "Handle it. I don't have time for children's games."

Rin bowed, hiding his amusement. "As you command."

The gathering was massive. Thousands lined the stone arena that bordered the two territories. This wasn't just a friendly match,it was a display of national pride.it happenedfrom time to time and only low levels participate in it anyonebelow 30%.

The neighboring guild announced they would let Rin's side choose the first five participants. Eyes immediately turned to him.

Rin smirked.

He called the names of four guild members who had mocked him over the past weeks—those who gave him contemptuous looks when Kael appointed him. The arena buzzed in confusion.

"These four?" someone whispered. "They're barely above average. He's going to shame us."

The four warriors looked furious. One of them growled, "What game are you playing, bastard?"

But orders were orders. They entered the arena.

One by one, they fell.

Their opponents were stronger, faster, more disciplined. The crowd watched in disbelief as each of Rin's chosen fighters was defeated.

Then Rin stepped forward.

He approached the arena slowly, each step deliberate. The watching crowd, tens of thousands strong, fell into a hushed tension.

"I'll take on the rest," he said calmly.

Gasps followed. The opposing side laughed.

But the laughter died quickly.

Rin unleashed devastation.

He destroyed the first opponent in seconds, one blow to the face. The second and third tried to tag team, but he weaved through their attacks with unnatural grace, smashing one to the ground and twisting the other's arm until bone cracked.

The fourth he humiliated. Rin let him strike, then grabbed his arm and shattered it, leaning close to whisper, "Remember this pain the next time you look down on me."

They really didn't do anything to him, but because of the system and because these people invaded earth, rin really didn't care for them

But the final opponent was different.

A commoner named Kyran, with 27% purity.

He approached respectfully, his expression serious.

"Your Grace," he said. "I won't hold back."

Rin nodded. "Good. I'd be disappointed if you did."

The fight was fierce. Kyran pushed Rin back with sheer speed and technique. Rin realized that, if not for his inherited body and superior senses, his battle armor,he'd already have lost.

Then the system buzzed.

Contamination detected in host's bloodline. Purging…

Dragon Body Awakening Initiated.

Pain and power surged. Horns burst from Rin's forehead. A tail snapped into existence. White scales rippled across his limbs.

The arena erupted in gasps.

"He awakened his Dragon Body?!"

"At around 15% to 20%?!"

"He's royalty. They can awaken early…"

Empowered, Rin countered Kyran's next attack with a headbutt that dropped him to one knee. He followed up with a barrage of strikes, culminating in a thunderous kick that sent Kyran flying.

Kyran didn't rise.

System Notification:

+20 Tyrant Path Points – Dragon Body Unleashed in Public

+25 Points – Solo Defeat of Entire Team

+35 Points – Public Fear and Respect

Tyrant Path Progress: 181/2000

As Rin's horns and tail slowly faded, he turned and left the arena without a word. The crowd parted in silence.

Respect. Fear. Awe. These were the new weights that clung to Rin Solas' name.

The past rin was timid, scared and unable to awaken his dragon form even though he is s royalty that is why nobody believed in him and he was laughed at.

Two months had passed since the battle against the neighboring kingdom. Though he hadn't officially moved up in blood purity, the shift in how the guild viewed him was unmistakable. Where there had once been scoffs and sideways glances, there were now measured bows, carefully chosen words, and eyes that no longer met his directly.

He liked it.

The system confirmed what he felt. Tyrant Path: +1000 Points. Halfway to the next threshold.

Every show of power, every bowed head, every tremble of hesitation added to his growth. The system absorbed the world's reactions and fed them back into him. For once, Rin didn't need to chase power with desperation,it came to him when he dominated.

Still, he learned control. When disrespectful gazes lingered too long, he retaliated with pain, but not too much. Enough to bruise, not break. Enough to terrify, not kill. That fine line preserved his image and kept him out of political entanglements.

One such moment stood out.

A young noble, son of a mid-tier commander, laughed a bit too loudly when Rin passed. Perhaps it was the white scales on his hands or the remnants of his bastard status that encouraged mockery.

Rin turned, his gaze sharp as a blade. "You find me funny?"

The noble hesitated. "N-no, my lord. Merely a joke about training methods—"

Rin stepped forward. His hand moved too fast to see. A sharp slap echoed across the courtyard. The noble reeled, clutching his reddened cheek, rin then beat him up for 10 minutes .

"Let that be your lesson," Rin said, voice low. "Next time, I won't be so merciful."

+7 Tyrant Points.

He walked off without looking back, satisfaction curling in his chest like a coiled dragon.

In these quiet months, Rin trained. The memories of the original Rin were useful, but the body itself held more secrets. Stronger, faster, sharper in every way than his human form, it responded to pressure like a refined weapon honed on a whetstone.

He sparred daily. One-on-one. Then two. Then three at once.

Victory every time.

Though he hadn't reached 20% purity, Rin could feel the gap closing. Another 1000 points. Just a little more...

And then came the summons.
