Chapter 6 - I really want to

After learning that Ivan really didn't know who Harry Potter was, and it wasn't because he was arrogant, Ron forgave Ivan. Moreover, in the hall, Ivan taught Malfoy a lesson, indirectly helping Ron to avenge Malfoy. Based on the principle that the friend of an enemy is a friend, the three little ones quickly became friends with Ivan.

Ivan looked at the last piece of potato on the plate, hesitated with his fork, and finally put it into his mouth. Ron sat opposite him, swallowed the food in his mouth, and lowered his voice to come over: "Ivan, we're going to find Hagrid later, will you come with us?"

Ivan raised his head and glanced at Ron, with a bit of doubt in his eyes. He put down his fork, wiped the corner of his mouth casually, and whispered: "Hagrid? The big guy?"

Ron nodded, his eyes flashing with excitement: "Yes, he is our friend, his hut is right next to the Forbidden Forest. He is very interesting, and always has some strange things. You come too, I won't let you down."

Ivan thought about it, and his eyes swept back and forth between Ron and Harry. Harry noticed his gaze, shrugged, and smiled faintly: "Don't worry, Hagrid is a very nice person, although sometimes a little... well, special, but definitely worth seeing."

Ivan nodded, his mouth slightly raised: "Okay, then I'll go with you to see it."

Ron showed a satisfied smile and patted Ivan's shoulder: "Great! We'll set off after we finish eating."

A few minutes later, the four left the hall, walked through the corridor of the castle, and headed towards the forbidden forest.

Soon, they came to a huge and low cottage. Smoke was wafting out of the chimney of the house, and a dim lamp was hanging at the door, swaying gently in the wind. Ron walked up and knocked on the heavy wooden door.

"Hagrid! Open the door, it's us!" Ron's voice was very low.

A dull sound of footsteps came from inside the door, accompanied by several loud barks of dogs.

The door was opened, and Hagrid's bearded face appeared at the door with a warm smile on his face.

"Hey, kids! Welcome!" Hagrid's voice was loud and warm. He was wearing a huge fur coat and holding a cup of steaming tea. When he saw Ivan, his eyes lit up, "Oh, there are new friends! Come in, come in!" Ivan was a little caught off guard by Hagrid's enthusiasm, but he nodded politely: "Hello, Hagrid. I'm Ivan Eferi." Hagrid smiled even more brightly, stretched out his hand and patted Ivan's shoulder, so hard that Ivan almost couldn't stand: "Welcome, Ivan! You did a great job in the auditorium!" The four followed Hagrid into the house. The furnishings in the house were simple and messy. The table was piled with all kinds of strange things, and there was a huge hound lying in the corner. Ivan's eyes swept around the house and finally stopped on the hound. Hagrid noticed his gaze and immediately introduced, "That's Fang, my hound. Although he's big, he's actually very timid."

When Fang heard his name, he lazily raised his head, shook his tail gently, and made a few low barks. Ivan walked up carefully, squatted down, and reached out to touch Fang's head. Fang seemed to enjoy it, closed his eyes, and made a few comfortable low moans.

"It seems that he likes you very much." Hagrid said with a smile, then turned around and took out a huge egg from the cabinet next to him, and carefully placed it on the table, "Look at this, my new pet!"

Ivan stood up and his eyes fell on the egg. The surface of the egg was covered with scales, emitting a slight heat, as if something was stirring inside.

"Is this... a dragon egg?" Harry's voice was a little surprised, and his eyes were wide open.

Hagrid nodded proudly, his face full of pride: "Yes, I spent a lot of effort to get it. In a few days, it will hatch."

Ron's expression was a bit complicated, with some worry in his eyes: "Hagrid, are you sure it is legal to raise a dragon? I don't want to see Dumbledore in trouble with the Ministry of Magic because of you again."

Hagrid waved his hand, his tone nonchalant: "Don't worry, I know my limits. Besides, this is a Norwegian Spinosaurus, a very precious magical creature. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see it hatch with your own eyes."

Ivan looked at the dragon egg on the table, his eyes were full of curiosity and deep thought. He reached out and gently touched the surface of the egg, feeling the faint vibration.

"It seems...very energetic." Ivan whispered.

Hagrid smiled even more brightly, his eyes almost narrowed into a slit: "Yes! It's a healthy little guy. When it hatches, I will take good care of it." Hermione stood aside, frowning, as if thinking about something: "Hagrid, I think you'd better be careful. Norwegian Spinosaurus is not so easy to raise. And I'm sure it's illegal to raise Norwegian Spinosaurus" Hagrid waved his hand nonchalantly: "Don't worry, I'll take care of it. Come on, everyone sit down, I'll make you some tea." Hagrid turned around to prepare tea sets, Ivan stood there, his eyes still on the dragon egg. He murmured in a low voice: "Dragon... I didn't expect it." The ancestor was also very curious, and the ring kept flashing, which meant that the ancestor was very excited now. Er Gouzi secretly took him to see a movie, and the dragons in it looked like lizards. I don't know what Hagrid's dragon looks like. "I really want to see if dragon blood is rich in spiritual power and can be used to draw talismans."

The Grand Master seemed to know what Ivan was thinking and began to flash again. He must have wanted to know, too.

Ron walked up to him and patted him on the shoulder, with a hint of teasing in his tone: "How is it, Ivan? Did Hagrid's 'specialness' open your eyes?"

Ivan smiled and nodded in agreement. He reached out and gently touched the scales on the surface of the dragon egg, feeling a warm and weak vibration, as if the creature inside was responding to his touch. His fingertips stayed on the dragon egg for a moment, then he withdrew his hand, with a flash of inquiry in his eyes. I really want to take it away for research! This damn curiosity!

"Grand Master, what do you say we come over to steal it at night?"

The Grand Master did not reply, but a weak electric current stimulated Ivan.

Hagrid came over with a few cups of hot tea, with a warm smile on his face, as if the discussion just now did not cause him any concern. His big palm held the teacup steadily and distributed it carefully to everyone. Ivan took the teacup, felt the warmth from the cup with his fingers, took a sip gently, and a faint sweetness spread in his mouth.

After chatting for a while, they were ready to leave. There was a flying class in the afternoon. Ivan was very interested in riding a broom, and of course, all the little wizards were very interested. Flying has always been a dream of mankind. Who can refuse to touch the sky!
