Well, such a huge amount of income was something that Bob had not anticipated. To say the truth, he had not expected that the difference between the price of the demon crystals in the soldier realm and those in the captain realm was that big.
If there was such a difference between those two, then how much could he earn from the demon crystals that were in the commander realm? It was no wonder that venturing out of the stronghold was the easiest way of making money, even though it was dangerous.
For a moment there, Bob was tempted to continue venturing out of the stronghold in order to continue hunting for the demon crystals. But he immediately suppressed this impulsive feeling, understanding that if he ended up accidentally coming across a demon that was beyond his capability, he might end up dying.
With this reasoning, Bob looked at the lady who was still looking at him, waiting for his response. He said, "I would like to purchase a few things, but they are mainly skill scrolls. Can I see the list of the skill scrolls that you have here?"
"Absolutely." The lady responded before she turned around and went to a counter that was not far away from where they were. She took a book from the counter, before bringing it to Bob.
Bob went through the book that contained the items that could be found within this shop. The categories of items recorded within that book were many as compared to the one that belonged to the shop that he had visited the previous day.
One by one, Bob went through the Common tier skills and techniques that could be found within this shop. But in the end, he did not find any skill or technique that could allow him to be able to hide his power level.
But even though he did not find what he wanted, he actually found quite a few skills that were quite good. And, at this point, there was no problem with him acquiring several skills, considering that with infinite skill points, he could upgrade them all to the Epic tier.
And in the future, if he succeeded in upgrading his soul, he would definitely be able to reach even higher levels. As for what those levels were, he was not sure.
Since he did not find what he wanted from the Common tier category, he went ahead and went through the others. And, he was even surprised to find that there was actually not even a single technique or skill that was in the Rare tier, not to mention in the Epic tier.
It was also at this point that Bob finally began understanding just how rare it was to be able to find a skill or a technique that was in the Epic tier. He immediately resolved that no matter what, he could definitely not expose the existence of the system.
If the information about him possessing something that could be used to upgrade the tier of skills or techniques leaked out, one could already guess what would happen. This was exactly one of the reasons why Bob did not want to interact too much with people, or venture out and meet those with higher power levels.
As he was going through the techniques in the Uncommon tier, he was once again disappointed to realize that there was not even a single one of them that could do what he wanted. For a moment, Bob could not help but wonder, could it be that such a skill did not exist?
In the end, he could only shake his head, hoping that this was not the case. Regardless, he had once again found another skill that was quite good, and if it was upgraded, it could help him greatly.
"I have found two skills that I would like to acquire." Bob stated a few minutes later after he had gone through the entire book.
"Please go ahead." The attendant nodded, waiting for Bob to say what skill scrolls he wanted to acquire.
A few minutes later, Bob walked out of the shop. He had not made any purchase of armor or any weapon, considering that this time, he was not having the intention of going out of the stronghold anytime soon.
If he purchased an armor or a weapon at this point, and his strength increased tremendously the following day, then those weapons or armor would be considered useless the following day. That was the reason why he decided not to buy any of those.
But instead, he had acquired two skill scrolls, all of them containing techniques. This time, he had not acquired any skill, even though he intended to do that.
He wanted to acquire a skill that could be used together with the unarmed combat technique, but he decided against it. It was not that he did not want to do that, but instead, he did not really want to buy too many skills and techniques at the same time.
Since he had not purchased them today, he would just buy them tomorrow. No matter how low the risk was, he could not afford to attract any form of attention. That was especially considering that all the techniques that he had acquired were basic, despite the amount of money he had being enough to be able to purchase the Uncommon tier techniques and skills.
Before leaving the shop, Bob had obviously received a card that contained the money. The card contained 430 million star coins. As for the remaining over 2 million star coins, they were within the bracelet that he had taken from the leader of the group that had attacked him.
It was impossible for him to carry so many star coins with him, as he had over 430 million star coins. Even though he had a big bracelet, those star coins would definitely not fit in.
Bob was still vigilant even while walking within the market area. He did not dare to drop his guard, considering that there was a possibility of a shop owners sending someone to trace him.
This was the exact reason why Bob did not want to sell all the demon crystals in the same place. Nobody could read the heart of the humans and what they were thinking about.
After going around in circles within the market, Bob entered yet another shop. He was obviously looking for a skill or a technique that could be used to hide his power level. But unfortunately, even within this shop, he did not find what he wanted.
He continued moving from shop to shop, but no matter how many shops he visited, he could not just find that skill. It was getting frustrating for him, considering that if he did not get that skill, then he would continuously have to be extremely cautious wherever he went.
But more than that, it was going to affect the plan that he was having. He had acquired a very good skill when he was venturing in one of the shops to look for a technique or a skill that could hide his power level. This had given him another idea.
But for this idea to work out, he would need something that could be used to disguise him first. Otherwise, he might really have to venture out of the stronghold later on again.
Bob frowned deeply, wondering if he was supposed to venture deeper into the stronghold in order to acquire the higher level skills and techniques. Until now, it had proven difficult to find what he wanted among the Common and Uncommon tier skills, so maybe he should find Rare tier ones?
It was just that it was impossible for him to find any skill scroll of such a level within the market. He was not sure if those could be found within this market or not, but he understood that it was almost impossible for him to find them.
Bob decided to visit a few more shops before going back home. It would be better if he used this time to get stronger, instead of wasting it moving around. If he could get stronger, why would he be afraid of venturing deeper into the stronghold?
As he thought of that, he entered a shop. As usual, there was an attendant that came to attend to him. Bob claimed that he wanted to purchase a few skill scrolls. He was handed a book, and after going through it, he was disappointed and said that the skill scrolls that he wanted were not available.
The attendant did not ask what he wanted, considering that the book that was handed over was always updated on a daily basis. So, if something was not displayed in that book, that implied that it was not available within the shop, or it was not for sale even if it was available.
With low hopes, Bob entered yet another shop. But the results still remained the same. Deciding to visit yet another one, Bob finally found what he was looking for!
He had not anticipated that finding just a single skill or technique that matched what he wanted was so difficult. He had visited so many shops, and only found it now.
Feeling relieved, Bob took the skill scroll and kept it inside his storage bracelet. With the amount of money that he currently had, he obviously could afford a better storage item, but he did not buy any.
Instead, immediately after acquiring the skill that he wanted, he immediately left the market area, going back home. By this time, it was already approaching evening, meaning that on this day, he had spent almost the entire day out.
After getting back to his house, he immediately closed the door, before taking the skill scroll for the skill that he had been looking for. On the skill scroll, the name of the skill was written there, Hidden Veil.
Bob went ahead and tore apart the skill scroll, and the beam of light erupted from the torn skill scroll, rushing into his head.
