Chapter 51 - Chapter 51

Nurse Sana looked at Katherine, her face full of worry and confusion. "Katherine, what are you going to do now? You can't go back to work at the hospital."

Her voice carried helplessness, like she had lost her direction after everything that had happened.

Nurse Sana, once a girl full of passion for medicine, was now struggling with a deep internal conflict.

To her, the hospital had always been a sacred place — a place where lives were saved, where hope was given. It held all her dreams for the future.

She had entered the medical field full of energy and hope, wanting to use her own hands to bring comfort to patients and protect lives.

But reality had slapped her hard. The hospital wasn't as pure as she once believed. It was filled with hidden battles and constant conflicts.

All the scheming, politics, and chasing of personal gain left her disillusioned and exhausted. Her enthusiasm had been slowly worn down by the cruel truth.

"Katherine, to be honest, if you're not at that hospital anymore, I don't think I can stay there either."

Her voice trembled slightly, and fear flickered in her eyes.

"After seeing what just happened, my head is full of question marks. I don't even know if my original choice was the right one anymore."

Inside, she was shouting with pain. The firm belief she once held now felt like it was about to collapse.

Katherine listened quietly. She understood Nurse Sana's pain and confusion.

When something you always saw as sacred suddenly reveals its dark side, the shock is unbearable.

Katherine sighed softly and said with steady warmth, "Sana, don't let other people's mistakes make you question the profession. Being a doctor is not the problem. The problem is with certain people."

"Don't act on emotion. Just focus on doing your best. The hardest thing is to stay true to your heart." Her voice was gentle yet firm.

"And never let someone else affect your judgment. You know how hard it is to get into Union Hospital. We both worked so hard for that."

When she mentioned Union Hospital, a trace of sadness flickered in her eyes.

That hospital was the dream of so many medical students. They had given everything to walk through those doors.

"Even if I don't work at Union anymore, no matter where I go, I'll still stick to my beliefs and help those in need. I hope you will too."

Her words were strong and clear, like a promise. Not just encouragement for Nurse Sana, but also a reminder to herself to never abandon her beliefs.

She knew her journey was far from over. No matter where she ended up, the responsibility of a doctor would stay with her forever.

But before she left the capital, she needed to find a way to expose what the department head and Shanshan had done.

What Shanshan had done had seriously violated medical ethics. If she stayed in the hospital, she would be like a ticking time bomb. There was no telling what she might do to harm patients in the future.

Nurse Sana caught onto the important part of Katherine's words. "Katherine, if the truth about Shanshan comes out, you won't stay in the hospital either, right?"

Katherine's eyes flickered. The image of Andrew flashed through her mind.

She had to admit that when it came to Andrew, she couldn't keep her heart still.

The only thing she could do now was leave. They would never see each other again.

She believed time would heal everything.

"No, I won't stay at Union. I have my own plans. I'll tell you more later."

"You've been up all night. Go back and get some rest."

"Don't worry about the hospital anymore. If I need you, I'll let you know."

Katherine gave a small nod. "Okay, then I'll head back first, Sister Liy."

Inside the spacious but somewhat cold office, Andrew's eyes were like magnets drawn to his phone screen.

No matter how many times he refreshed it with hope, the phone remained frustratingly silent. Not even the slightest notification appeared.

His expression grew darker, like storm clouds gathering. The stern, cold look on his face was enough to freeze the air in the room.

With growing irritation and a restless frustration he couldn't put into words, he suddenly pressed the intercom button. His voice was as sharp and cold as ice in winter. "Assistant Ryan, come in."

The moment Ryan received the call, he knew something had triggered his boss's sensitive nerves.

He didn't dare delay, rushing to the office with a respectful and attentive look. "Boss, what do you need?"

Andrew's eyes flickered slightly, as if emotion stirred beneath the surface, but he forced it down.

He clenched his fist lightly and coughed against his hand, as if trying to calm himself before he finally spoke. "Did you add her on WeChat before?"

Ryan understood immediately who "her" referred to, but he furrowed his brow and pretended to be confused. "Who are you talking about?"

He knew very well how stubborn and proud his boss was. Playing dumb like this was a bit of teasing, but not too much.

Andrew shot him a cold glance, filled with authority and sharpness. "Don't play dumb."

Ryan was determined to hold his ground, refusing to give in easily. "Boss, I really don't know who you're talking about. Could you be more specific?"

Andrew's hand on the desk slowly tightened, his knuckles turning pale from the pressure. Gritting his teeth, he forced the words out. "Do you have Katherine Shen's WeChat?"

Ryan tried to suppress a smile and nodded slightly. "Yes, but I'm not sure if she's deleted me or not."

Andrew reached out his hand without hesitation. "Give me your phone."

Ryan was stunned for a moment, then quickly snapped out of it and handed it over. "Oh."

Andrew took the phone and started operating it quickly and skillfully. Without even looking up, he asked, "What name did you save her under?"

"Doctor Katherine," Ryan answered honestly.

Andrew quickly searched through the contacts and found her WeChat, then opened her Moments.

As soon as he saw her latest post, his gaze froze. When he saw the date of the post, rage flared up inside him like dry wood catching fire.

So that night, she had gone hiking all night with Joshua.

Jealousy and fury twisted together in his heart. He clenched his jaw silently. Katherine, you really know how to get under my skin.

At first, Andrew just wanted to send her a message pretending to be Ryan, to check on her. But now, that fire inside him made him change his mind.

He went straight to the Moments posting interface, typed fast, and posted a message announcing that Xinyu Group had launched Wind Media and signed Charlotte with a huge contract.

After posting, Andrew shut off the phone and handed it back to Ryan, his tone calm again. "Done."

Ryan took the phone back. Before he could ask anything, Andrew dismissed him. "Go back to work."

Ryan quietly left the office. He immediately opened WeChat to check and saw Katherine's chat window was completely empty. Didn't the boss want to message her?

Then he tapped into Moments—and the sky collapsed.

Boss, you really did it now!!
