Chapter 17 - Chapter 16 the training arc

As the date came to a close, Gilgamesh found himself alone with his Pokémon, a determined glint in his eyes. "Alright, guys," he announced, his voice filled with resolve, "we need to get stronger! Charmander, I need you to evolve. So, I'm going to train all of you so hard!"

Gilgamesh turned to his team, his gaze sweeping over Charmander, Scyther, and Nidoking. He knew they had the potential to become even more powerful, and he was determined to help them reach their full potential.

With newfound purpose, Gilgamesh began to devise a rigorous training regimen for his three Pokémon. He considered their individual strengths and weaknesses, tailoring the exercises to maximize their growth and development.

Gilgamesh's voice echoed through the training grounds, urging his Pokémon to push their limits. "That's not enough!" he exclaimed, his eyes burning with intensity. "Push yourselves harder! Go beyond what you think you're capable of!"

His words resonated with Charmander, Scyther, and Nidoking, igniting a fire within their hearts. They exchanged determined glances, their resolve unwavering. They were ready to push themselves to the brink and beyond, all for the sake of becoming stronger.

As the grueling training session wore on, Gilgamesh watched as his Pokémon pushed their limits, their bodies straining with exertion. Scyther and Nidoking eventually succumbed to fatigue, collapsing onto the ground, exhausted but satisfied.

However, amidst the weariness, one Pokémon remained standing tall – Charmander. The small fire-type Pokémon stood firm, its tail flame burning brighter than ever.

Gilgamesh's eyes widened in admiration as he approached Charmander. "Charmander," he said, his voice filled with awe, "wow, you really want to go beyond, don't you?"

He knelt down, his gaze meeting Charmander's determined eyes. "I'm so proud of you, Charmander," Gilgamesh continued, his voice filled with encouragement. "You've come so far, and you're not giving up. That's the spirit of a true champion!"

"Charmander," Gilgamesh began, his voice filled with pride, "you are the true champion of my team. You are the leader of Scyther and Nidoking. Show them why I made you their leader!"

He stepped back, allowing Charmander to take center stage. The small fire-type Pokémon stood tall, its tail flame flickering with determination. It turned to face Scyther and Nidoking, its eyes filled with unwavering resolve.

A surge of energy coursed through Charmander's body, empowering it with newfound strength and confidence. It let out a mighty roar, its voice echoing through the training grounds. The sound reverberated through Scyther and Nidoking, jolting them back to their senses.

The sight of Charmander's evolution sent a wave of excitement through Gilgamesh. "Is Charmander evolving?" he exclaimed, his voice filled with anticipation.

As the glowing subsided, a magnificent Charmeleon stood in its place. Its fiery eyes blazed with newfound power, and its claws gleamed menacingly. With a mighty roar, Charmeleon announced its arrival, its voice echoing through the training grounds.

The determination in Scyther and Nidoking's eyes filled Gilgamesh with pride. "Alright, everyone," he announced, "let's call it a day. You all did an amazing job with the training."

He gestured towards the exit. "Let's head to the Pokémon Center to get you healed up. And after that, we'll grab some food to replenish your energy."
