Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Hell Game, Brothers

"I have so many enemies I can't count them!" These common folk are really a nuisance. I didn't look for them, and instead of being grateful, they act like flies buzzing in my ear. It's disgusting.

"Kill him! Kill him! We can't let him escape this time! The World Nobles are all evil, they're the ones who made us like this!"

The surrounding residents shouted, their voices full of anger and fear, turning the once silent island into a noisy place. In contrast, Rosinante, tied to a stake, sobbed softly.

"Fufufufu!"

An unrestrained laugh interrupted the commotion of the inhabitants. A commoner, trembling, stammered: "Doflamingo, you demon, no one can save you today! It's time to collect the debt!"

Doflamingo, with one hand on his forehead and the other dragging the rusty sword, laughed: "Fufufufu! Is that so? You despicable beings, I'm here! If you want revenge, then come!"

"You, you, you! Don't be so arrogant! So many of us, and we'd be afraid of you?" The crowd gathered around was agitated, but no one dared to attack.

"Fufufufu! To say you are trash would be to praise trash. You don't even dare to raise a knife with your own hands? Indeed, trash is trash. Let me choose how you will die!"

Saying that, he ran into the agitated crowd, wielding the rusty sword. Doflamingo ran and struck with the blade, like a hungry wolf invading a flock of sheep, attacking everyone he saw, like a madman.

"Ah, he's a demon! What are you waiting for, everyone? Kill this little beast! Avenge everyone!"

Battle cries covered Doflamingo's voice. Countless punches, kicks, and sword blows hit him. Doflamingo did not panic, nor did he feel fear. Since he came to this disgusting world, he understood that fear was the most useless thing. To die to live. He could only go forward, he could not retreat, he could not fall. He would be the king of this world, the only king.

Countless blades and flashes of swords reflected in Doflamingo's glasses, about to hit him. If he didn't dodge, he would immediately be torn to pieces.

A peculiar scene. To observers, Doflamingo seemed paralyzed with fear, standing still and motionless.

"Don't blame us, just blame yourselves for being World Nobles, children of the devil! Die, Doflamingo!" The surrounding residents, full of fervor, brandished their knives and swords against Doflamingo, who seemed stunned.

"Quick, quick! Let's finish off this little beast now!" This was the thought of every oppressed citizen.

From afar, Trebol and the others, seeing the scene, cried out in fright: "Young Master, dodge!"

But Doflamingo seemed to hear nothing, immersed in his own world. From afar, they saw Doflamingo being swallowed by the crowd.

"It's over, it's over! Young Master, our hope!" Diamante knelt on the ground, muttering.

"Nee, nee, Doffy, you really..." Trebol said, stunned.

"Hahahaha! We finally killed this demon! We got our revenge! Boo-hoo-hoo!" The surrounding residents cried with joy, letting out their emotions.

"Brother, you really..." Rosinante, tied up, had empty eyes and murmured.

"Fufufufu! I really was underestimated by you, huh? Did you think you could kill me like that? I am indestructible, you despicable beings!" Doflamingo's figure gradually rose from the ground.

"What a pathetic attempt!"

With the last word spoken, an invisible aura of Conqueror's Haki erupted, changing the landscape in an instant.

It turns out that, when Doflamingo was confronted by countless blades, he suddenly felt the world much clearer. At that moment, he understood that his Observation Haki had also awakened. He immediately used the strength he had trained during that month to propel himself from the ground, performing a "sky kiss," which caused this dangerous situation.

The faces of countless people paled. Looking at Doflamingo, unharmed, standing in the middle of the crowd like a demon, they trembled and fell to the ground, helpless. "He is a demon!"

Under the impact of the Conqueror's Haki, all the inhabitants fainted. Trebol and the others watched Doflamingo from afar, surrounded by the unconscious, like a sun surrounded by stars, dazzling and with an extraordinary aura.

"Fufufufu! Vergo, you arrived at the right time! Tie them all up! Such a fun game can't be without spectators and participants!" Doflamingo laughed at Vergo, who was in the distance.

The island, once noisy, finally calmed down. Vergo used the String-String Fruit ability to tie up each of the inhabitants. Doflamingo sat in front of these "evil commoners," without saying a word.

They waited for a long time, until the sky darkened. The fainted inhabitants finally woke up, and the silent island was about to become noisy again.

"Doflamingo, you demon! What do you want to do? Come, kill me! I'm not afraid of you!" Some men, with courage, shouted loudly.

"Fufufufu! I love people who aren't afraid of dying like you! That being said, let's play a fun game!" Doflamingo said, with a sinister smile. "Start, Vergo! I can't wait any longer, my blood is boiling with excitement, fufufufu!"

Without further ado, Vergo activated the String-String Fruit ability and manipulated the man who had been bold, like a puppet. He made him pick up a butcher knife and go to his own compatriots, who had been humiliated along with him, slaughtering them one by one. Screams of pain echoed.

"Ah! What did you do, Doflamingo? Stop! Everyone, run! I can't control myself!" At that moment, the man cried helplessly, tears and snot running, unable to control his body.

"Fufufufu! Am I not just helping you do what you wanted? Since you can't wield the knife, I'll help you. You don't have to thank me, I've always been like this, so helpful." Doflamingo, with a hand on his forehead, smiled and said: "Look at what a wonderful scene! Trebol, what do you say, is this game fun or not? Fufufufu!"

"Nee, nee, Doffy, you are very kind! Yes, it's a wonderful scene!" Trebol and the others agreed.

Aside, Rosinante, who had been freed and woken from his faint, watched the devilish scene. He felt an uncontrollable fear and muttered softly: "Demon, a demon! My brother is a demon! Is this hell?" Taking advantage of the darkness of the night, he dragged his small and fragile body away from hell.

Rosinante, believing no one was watching him, didn't know that Doflamingo was seeing everything. However, he made no movement, continuing to enjoy that infernal spectacle.

"My foolish brother, go ahead. We are not of the same kind. I hope you don't make the foolish mistake of coming back like in the original. Next time, I won't forgive you. I will have no mercy on anyone who stands in my way," Doflamingo thought to himself. "Law, I will have you, no matter the cost."

"Fufufufu!"
