The emptiness consumed me until I could see nothing but darkness for a few brief seconds.
Was this the process of entering these crevices? The pressure exerted on my body was somewhat heavy, But my features relaxed when finally the darkness dissipated little by little, the landscape was somewhat strange but it had its charm with trees with thick trunks and purple leaves in the form of flakes.
The adventurers were talking about some combat strategy or so it seemed but what they were saying made no sense which made me realize that they were novices at this, Helios is looking at the strange insects of this dimension that looked like ants but their structures seemed to be made of metal and be a little bigger than normal.
"Well come on, go ahead it's just the opening zone here there won't be much to explore." -said Klent as he took his weapon and walked towards the front and the others followed him, I curiously approached directly towards him still with distrust.
"Y.... How many crevasses have you explored already, have you only gone to grade A areas?" -I asked him questioning the little experience that was denoted in the team.
"Nah, it's our first crack..... But don't worry I'm confident in my skills and those of my team. -The nonchalant tone in which he spoke while scratching his nose made me stay static for a few seconds. How do I know that Helios and I will really be safe? I quickly walked over to Helios and whispered softly.
"Helios!" .... I think we should get out of here... I don't have a good feeling... besides, these guys are new at this.... -I frown quickly as helios practically ignores me to look around this place.
Suddenly I hear strange noises, footsteps? Or maybe it was just my thoughts but something wouldn't let me be calm.
The reason for my distrust of this environment did not take long to present itself.
Beings with 6 strange thin legs but with a lot of hair on the tips, a large claw on each limb, a bluish body and a single eye that saw everywhere in a frantic way.
[Krotinhells, Rank E]
"What the hell is that? -My words were a muffled scream as I gripped tightly the handle of the sword I had been given. I run away? I fight? I didn't know the answer this was new I had never fought even once in my life.
The other team members got ready, the two tanks of the team were standing in front of everyone, one holding a hammer and the other some kind of long staff with metal spikes on the ends, Klent with his axe in the center, the two mages behind them both preparing fire attacks and the healer last.
Helios excitedly stands next to Klent wanting to fight this is stressing me out should I join too?
I did not have time to answer my own mental questions, why the creatures went on the attack against us, but I was amazed to see how the two tanks repelled with their weapons the continuous attacks from every limb of these erratically attacking creatures.
One of the mages began to extend his two hands towards the creatures and to shoot continuously several times from them a kind of pure white glowing magic that hit the creatures in several places on their elongated bodies, one of these hits tore off a limb and another one the head. Smoke poured from the affected areas as they writhed.
The other wizard smoking a long cigarette took it out of his mouth and pointed it at the creatures and then that cigarette quickly and violently set fire to the area below those monsters.
"Valla....that was...." -I couldn't finish speaking Klent put his hand on my shoulder and laughed as he patted me.
"See, you don't have to worry my team is aware enough to know how to fight as a team." -I didn't want to hear everything Klent said because of my surprise.
"So... So these are the much desired posculas? -Helios' question snapped me out of my surprise and I turned to see what was left of the creatures' dentegranate corpses, small glowing green spheres.
"Yes, the "posculas" are the reason this work is profitable, as they are used for the creation of weapons and armor that are sold at a price." -That was what one of the sorceresses commented a young woman with brown hair and a cloak that reached halfway down her back wore a dress that was somewhat short but did not let you see more than necessary.
"The only problem with the "posculas" is that they depend on the rank of both the rift and the creatures, if the creature is A+ or A++ they might give you more, and if you go to a higher level rift they might vary the color which means more money."
Was what Klent confessed as he bent down and picked up the items left by the creatures, note when he was enchanted by some [Grade E Natural Nails].
"So you mean..... depending on the crack varies the color of the posculas, and that defines their value?" -I threw the question into the air hoping someone would answer and they did, when one of the tanks answered me.
"Yes, for something most adventurers try to be among the highest tops and ranks as the posculas are worth a lot, we started with the green ones soon we hope to go for the gold or red ones".
While I felt more relieved to see that at least if they know how to defend themselves we arrived at a kind of tremor, the place is strange, it has a natural beauty although it is destroyed nature around it makes it look very nice but it felt a strange feeling.
We advanced to the place with caution to enter and see what awaited us inside.
Inside the place everything was illuminated only by the light that penetrated through the corners of the structure and the holes left by time and destruction.
"Is it... Is it the Closing area? It doesn't look anything like the one before the one we went to....." -said one of the two concrete tanks where he held the hammer.
"Something is different.... Doesn't it look like a normal Closing area?" -commented Klent we all looked around but there are no footprints or creature mounts.
"What's that?" -Helios pointed to a small altar with a rather large golden sphere.
"Is that a cospula?" I asked although it obviously looked bigger, quickly came the healer's answer.
"No, it isn't But it could be worth a lot of money for something it's on an altar."
Suddenly the place shook, I felt something so uncomfortable and scary that my bones tensed and I could only hold my breath, in front of us from one of those many piles comes out a creature, it was big possibly 2.30 meters tall it had 4 arms, the color of its body and fur was white, a dense white hair that went from all over its head to connect with its face like a beard, a golden mask with long horns and a golden hammer dragging behind it.
Instinctively we all backed up a few steps as we stood in front of it.

"It can't be.....How did I get myself into this?"
