I went into class. I saw the class talking, making so much noise. Not seeing my best friend early was normal. He was always late. I sighed as I took a seat in the back row. I was 30 minutes early so I thought I should rest for a while, and I did. Now, I will introduce myself. My name is Liam. I am 16 years old. hobbies? Reading, writing novels, coding, and cleaning. Those murder mystery books make me want to solve mysteries myself. My grades are perfect. I'm just flexing. Let's go ahead and get on with the story.
I woke up to find my professor, Ms. Nature, and my best friend, Marcus. He smiled awkwardly and took a seat beside me. "Marcus, you're late again. " I told him. "Yeah, so.. I told Ms. Nature it was because my younger sister had pulled a prank on me, so I couldn't find my keys. But, in reality, I woke up late. So don't tell her, don't tell anyone, okay, please? " He asked nervously. I rolled my eyes. "Thanks," he replied, smiling.
"Students, we've got two new students." Ms. Nature told us. This caught everyone's attention. "Come in, sweeties." He told. A tall male with black hair came in. He had sea blue eyes. He smiled. "The name's Brian." He waited. Another person came in, but he was quite short. "Hi..." He said awkwardly. "My name... Er... Is Karson." He concluded and followed Brian to a seat. Karson sat next to me as Brian sat between Karson and Caleb, who is a student at school, aged 17. Popular, known, funny, and smart. The professor told us to turn to page 106 and explained things. Karson shook his head, and then his legs were shaking. Finally, he spoke. "Wh- what's your name?" He asked, turning to me. "Liam. Karson, right?" I asked. He nodded. "How old are you?" "Sixteen. You?" I said, trying to look as casual as possible. "Fourteen." "Woah. You are quite young to be in this class. You must be intelligent." I said. He didn't say anything. Then, he whispered. "Brian...." Brian turned to him. "Yes?" He asked Karson. "I don't know how to communicate right now." As soon as I heard, I spoke. "I am truly sorry for making things complicated." I apologized. "Pretty sure I'm doing it right now, just speak what you think." Brian smiled. "You look kind." He told me. "Thank you," I replied quickly. "Friends? With Karson, too?" "Sure," I replied. Karson looked happy. I looked at Marcus. "Our new friends," I said. He smiled and nodded. "Finally! Some new friends." Exclaimed Marcus. Brian came closer to us and whispered. "Caleb's a coward." He chuckled softly while talking. We all nodded in agreement. "I'm excited to have a fun time together, I'm sure we will," Karson said. We all smiled.
After school, we figured that the four of us were in the same dorm and got quite excited. We all talked about our interests, hobbies, and played some games. Then came night... Something happened. "Hello? Hello?" The principal started speaking on the speaker, probably in his office. "Everyone, please remain in your dorms. Now, lock all your doors and windows. This is serious. I mean it." We heard. The headmaster, Mr. Chomp, was always joking, but his voice seemed to be cracking. We have to wait until the next day to know what has happened. Karson freaked out as Brian hugged him for comfort. The three of us, Brian, Marcus, and I, locked the doors and windows as ordered. We were all scared. We know it.
