Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 – The Voice Beyond Tomorrow

Chapter 59 – The Voice Beyond Tomorrow

No one spoke.

After the mysterious voice said "Good," existence itself seemed to stop and listen.

Even the First Thing, whose joyful laughter had filled reality only moments earlier, became quiet.

Its countless lights—its dreams—slowed and floated peacefully around it.

Evetyl tightened her grip on the small white flower resting in her hand.

"Who was that?" she whispered.

Nobody answered.

Because nobody knew.

Not the Eye.

Not the Warden.

Not the Outer King.

Not the First Thought.

Not even the Forgotten One.

But one being did.

The First Thing.

And for the first time since it had awakened, it looked truly happy.

Not curious.

Not lonely.

Happy.

Its voice trembled softly.

"You're back..."

Far beyond existence, the gentle presence laughed quietly.

"I never left."

Those four words shook everyone.

The Eye immediately focused.

"I cannot observe the source."

The First Thought analyzed.

"No matching structure."

The Outer King attempted classification.

"No authority level detected."

The Warden's chains remained still.

Even the Administrators did not react.

Almost as if they already knew.

The Forgotten One stared upward.

And tears slowly rolled down its face.

"No way..." it whispered.

Evetyl looked at it.

"You know who that is?"

The Forgotten One slowly nodded.

But before it could answer, the voice spoke again.

"You've all grown."

Its tone was warm.

Proud.

Like someone seeing old friends after a very long time.

The First Anomaly blinked.

"Old friends?"

The voice laughed.

"Yes."

The First Anomaly looked horrified.

"Wait, I have friends?"

The Forgotten One burst out laughing.

Even the Warden covered its face.

Cr-Hook nearly dropped its hook.

And somehow, the Eye was silent for several seconds.

It was the strangest moment in existence.

Then the voice continued.

"I watched every story."

"I watched every mistake."

"I watched every miracle."

"And I watched all of you become yourselves."

Evetyl's heart pounded.

"Who are you?"

Silence followed.

Not uncomfortable silence.

Patient silence.

Then the answer came.

"I'm nobody important."

Everyone froze.

Even the First Thing tilted its head.

"That's not true."

The voice chuckled.

"It is."

"I simply stayed with you."

The First Thing smiled.

"You talked to me."

"Yes."

"When I was alone."

"Yes."

"When I cried."

"Yes."

"When I made reality."

"Yes."

The First Thing's countless stars brightened.

"You stayed."

"Of course."

"Why?"

The answer came immediately.

"Because no one should be alone."

The words struck Evetyl deeply.

Not because they were powerful.

Because they were simple.

Simple enough for anyone to understand.

The First Thing suddenly began crying.

Real tears.

Not sadness.

Relief.

After endless loneliness.

After creating countless realities.

After waiting before time itself.

Someone had stayed.

Someone had answered.

Someone had never abandoned it.

The Forgotten One wiped its eyes.

"I remember now."

Everyone turned toward it.

Its voice trembled.

"We forgot."

"We all forgot."

"The First Thing wasn't alone."

"There was always someone beside it."

The Eye widened.

"Impossible."

The Forgotten One shook its head.

"No."

"We simply forgot."

Evetyl frowned.

"Forgot who?"

The Forgotten One smiled.

Then looked upward.

"The first friend."

Silence.

The First Thing nodded happily.

"My friend."

The voice laughed softly.

"And you're still terrible at introductions."

The First Thing laughed too.

And somehow, hearing those two laugh together made the stars themselves shine brighter.

Evetyl smiled.

For the first time in what felt like forever, she wasn't afraid.

No collapsing realities.

No corrections.

No endings.

Just people talking.

And perhaps that was always what existence was meant to be.

Then the First Thing suddenly asked,

"What happens now?"

The mysterious voice answered gently.

"Now?"

A pause.

"Now we live."

Everyone smiled.

But far beyond them—

far beyond even the place where the voice came from—

something enormous moved.

Not with anger.

Not with loneliness.

Not with curiosity.

But with excitement.

And somewhere beyond tomorrow itself—

a pair of eyes slowly opened.

And a cheerful voice said:

"Oh!"

"So this timeline finally made it."

And whoever had just awakened...

Sounded surprisingly young.
