Chapter 16: Weapon Master Versus King Of Bolts
The battle between JackSpark and Zapper was about to reach its climax. The 300-year limit on Death's powers had expired, and he was now totally free. The Time-Stopper Machine, once a beacon of hope, was now nothing more than a relic of the past.
JackSpark, the leader of the Archadians, had a storied past. He was once a special soldier, part of an elite unit that carried out high-risk missions. During one crucial operation, his entire team was wiped out, and Jack was left for dead. Queen Archandia discovered him and saw potential in the young soldier. She chose him to be the first member and leader of the Archadians, a group dedicated to protecting Gaia and Earth from supernatural threats.
Jack's memories of his past still lingered, but he had found a new purpose with the Archadians. He was determined to protect his new family and the world from the forces of darkness.
As Jack faced off against Zapper, he knew that this battle would be a test of his skills. The two enemies circled each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Zapper charged his hands with electricity and rushed towards Jack, who drew out his weapon and activated the sword mode. Jack spun, attempting a side slash to the mid-area of Zapper, but Zapper created a counter shockwave with his body to defend himself. The shockwave made Jack back down a little.
Zapper tried for a long-range attack with electricity rushing straight towards Jack, which exploded when it hit him. The rest of the Archadians felt the tension as they watched the battle unfold. After the smoke from the explosion cleared, JackSpark appeared unharmed, having shifted his weapon from sword to shield mode.
"You are not a noob after all. This will be fun," Zapper told Jack.
"This will not be fun when I wipe out that smile on your face," JackSpark replied.
Zapper attacked Jack again with long-ranged bolts. JackSpark changed his weapon into a drill while dodging Zapper's attacks, then he dug through the sand. Zapper waited for him to pop out, but Jack changed his weapon into two daggers while popping out from the sand behind his enemy. Zapper was hit by the swipes of Jack. Zapper became defenseless, and JackSpark changed his weapon again to a shield when he noticed the electrical charge on Zapper's right foot. Zapper countered with a thunderous kick, and Jack was hit by an electric shock after blocking the kick. They were both wounded.
"I respect you for being a good warm-up partner. Hehe," Zapper said while catching his breath.
"I didn't expect you to be this strong," JackSpark replied while panting.
They continued their battle, and at this point, Zapper saw an opening and kicked Jack right into the face with electricity zapping Jack's body. JackSpark was weakening at this point.
JackSpark thought about how he could get near Zapper and finally got an idea. When Zapper attempted to attack him again, Jack turned his weapon into four shurikens and threw them at Zapper. The shurikens wounded Zapper and created an opportunity for Jack to attack with bow and arrow, but Terminator decided to intervene by deflecting the arrow with his iron hand.
"Stop it right now. This fight is useless anymore," Terminator said.
"You stupid! Why did you do that?! I said this is between him and me!" Zapper angrily yelled at Terminator.
"Sorry to meddle, but we should go now!" Terminator replied.
"Sorry guys, but the machine is worthless now. We just used you to spare some time to release the other half of Death," Edge uttered.
"What?!" Jack shouted.
"Yeah, you hear me clearly. Adios!" Edge, Terminator, and Zapper moved fast to retreat.
The Archadians attempted to follow them, but Jack commanded them to return to the palace with the machine.
