Scene: Initial Assessment Hall – Meridian High Academy of Magic
The hall was circular and spacious, surrounded by crystal walls that reflected magical auras. At its center was a stone platform engraved with seal symbols and protective seals.
Dozens of new students stood in a long line, preceded by a young instructor with his hands behind his back and a "Third Rank - Fire Element" badge on his shoulder.
Instructor (firmly):
Each student will stand on the assessment circle and release a small portion of their spiritual energy. The circle will analyze the energy level, type, and stability.
The students approached one by one...
Some had flames, or aerial wings, or gentle waterfalls of water behind them.
There were some who didn't appear at all... and the audience muttered about them: weak... boring... won't last long.
Then it was Nava's turn.
He stepped firmly onto the assessment platform and stood in the center of the circle without showing any tension or even interest.
Instructor (indifferently):
Name?
Nava:
Kuro Nava.
Instructor:
Release a little of your spiritual energy. Just a little... understand?
Nava (lowly):
...a little? I'll try.
He raised his right hand calmly... and quickly. Light began to gather at his fingertips, but it wasn't ordinary light.
It was a dark purple light, pulsing with icy precision, as if time itself had stopped around it.
Then suddenly, the ring began to tremble.
The seals began to glow, one by one, before shattering.
Instructor (panicked):
Stop! Stop immediately!
But Nava was still silent.
Then he said quietly:
Nava:
Ah... that's only 0.001%... Sorry, I forgot how to brake.
In an instant, the power stopped, and the hall fell back into a stifling silence.
One of the teachers in the back fell to his knees, breathing heavily.
One of the students (whispering):
What was that? I've never felt energy like this before... I felt like I was about to fade from existence.
Another student (frightened):
His eyes... they changed for a moment... like two worlds of emptiness.
Instructor (trying to maintain composure):
Kuroo Nava... your energy... is not human. It's not even... understandable.
A woman in her thirties approached him, with a pure magical aura and the Supreme Watcher badge on her chest.
Watcher:
You will be re-evaluated... but for now, you will be placed in the mysterious classification section.
Nava (with a faint, lifeless smile):
As you wish... I'm here to entertain, not compete.
Then he stepped down from the platform amidst looks of astonishment, fear, and silent admiration...
But behind it all, eyes were watching him from the academy's towers.
And an unknown voice muttered:
This is not a student... but a sign that the world itself is beginning to breathe differently.
