Jason gave out as he ran home quickly.
On getting home, the entire house was a mess and destroyed.
Jason walked around, spotted pieces of Mary's clothes lying on the floor.
He immediately wore his mask, climbed to the roof and scanned the area.
From a distance he spotted her. Far in a construction site hanging from a crane.
"Fuck!"
Jason then shot a grappling hook as he swung to the construction site.
He arrived looking up and seeing Crawler on top of the crane as Mary was dangling unto a wire that hooked her to the crane.
"Let her go now!"
"Hahahaha"
Crawler laughed insanely as he looked down on Shadow.
"If you truly are a man come down here and face me… today, I'll send you crawling back home."
"You bastard! How dare you?!"
Immediately, Crawler dived down towards Shadow.
"Bring it on!"
Shadow then held a gun in his left and a knife in his right as Crawler began to form and release multiple blades at Shadow.
Both then collided.
Shadow punched Crawler in the guts, before using his gun to hit his head downwards and stabbed his back.
Shadow was about to blow out his brains, but Crawler threw himself upwards into the air holding the hands of Shadow and threw him away.
Shadow collided and smashed a lot of cement blocks, shattering them.
"You again?"
Crawler wound up above Shadow, who then quickly got up and shot his hands.
But Crawler headbutted him as Shadow fell on the ground.
"Arrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!!"
Shadow groaned as Crawler stabbed him with two blades right in the leg and guts, before he held Shadow's throat and threw him up into the air.
Crawler then jumped above him as he pound Shadow down to the ground with a great force.
Shadow coughed as he rolled and laid on the back, seeing Crawler climbing the crane towards Mary.
"Nooooo!!!!"
Screaming with shock and sadness, Crawler was about to cut the wire holding Mary.
Immediately, Shadow shot his grappling hook to the top of the crane as it pulled him up towards Crawler as he kicked him away from her.
Crawler was about to fall off, but he held the crane and climbed back up.
They then both continued striking against each other.
Shadow shooting and attacking with his knife while trying to evade the slices and stabs from Crawley.
But, Crawler sliced his left leg making Shadow stumble.
Shadow staggering then received a powerful drop kick to the chest that went him flying off the crane.
"Arrgghhhhhh!"
Shadow gave out as he shot his grappling hook to the crane and it pulled him back to it.
["Chances of me surviving is low if I fall from here"]
But it was too late for Shadow.
Crawler cut the wire suspending Mary, and Shadow sw her falling to her death.
On seeing this, he set loose his hook retracting it and diving downwards towards her, but—
A large pipe wiped Shadow away and Crawler turned up and pinned him to a wall.
"Noooo!!!!"
Shadow then headbutted Crawler and got himself loose, before diving down towards Mary.
He got to her and held her hand, but as Shadow looked up he saw Crawler coming towards at him.
["I have to save her first"]
Shadow then took of his left gloves and wore them on Mary and immediately shot the grappling hook on it back to the crane suspending her back.
Crawler then collided with Shadow as both were attacking each other while falling down to the ground.
Crawler then aimed to stab Shadow, but her held the blade with his left hand, which cut his as he bled.
Shadow then pulled himself closer to Crawler and shot his mouth from the side.
"Kkrraaarrghhh!"
Crawler groaned as he kicked Shadow down to the ground.
But, Shadow held his leg and drew him down with him. So before the collision with the ground, both kicked themselves away from each other with great force.
Shadow moved, bursting through the walls of the construction site and unto the road.
"Bloody hell."
Shadow then stood up getting himself back.
PIM! PIM! PIMMMM!!!!!
A fuel tanker was honking at a girl, as it was about to run her over.
"Oh shit!!"
Shadow immediately ran, and took a dive at her moving out of the way.
"Are you alright?"
"Y-yes"
Shadow then helped her up as she ran off and immediately—
KRA! BOOM! BOOOMMM!!!
The tanker exploded blasting everything around away as Shadow turned around.
Crawler walked through the flames towards Shadow with great rage and bloodlust, holding two blades in his hands.
"What did I do to deserve this?"
Shadow was about to move when suddenly Crawler showed up in front of him
"Wha—"
And a great kick landed on the chest of Shadow as he flew and smashed a parked car compressing it.
The people around gathered but watched from a considerable distance as the police, the news, and press swarmed in, including their helicopters.
"Quite the spectators we've got huh?!"
Shadow gave out boldly as he got his balance.
Crawler suddenly turned up about to slice him, but this time, Shadow gave him a punch as he moved away.
Crawler landed on his feet and grabbed a man by the head and was about to slit his throat.
"Don't!"
Shadow shot his right grappling hook to a wall behind him and it pulled him towards Crawler with great force.
Before crawler could kill the man, Shadow kicked his hand breaking it, and then he help the man to go, before running towards Crawler.
Shadow throwing multiple punches continuously, the. He pinned Crawler to the wall and punched him all the more.
He then used Crawler's head to smash against his knees as blood flowed from his head.
"Arrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
And just as Crawler was about to resist and counter, Shadow places his gun to his head and blew his brains out.
Blood splashing on the ground and on Shadow, he dropped his body.
"W-w-what have I done?"
Shadow stared at the blood on his hands and the gun in his hand as he was having a panic attack, but then—
CLAP! CLAP!! CLAP!!!
"Woooooo!!"
The people in the streets began clapping and cheering as they came closer to him.
Even before Shadow knew it, the press was already before him, all with their cameras, microphones and speakers.
"We all saw what you did out here, could you drop a word for us please?"
A female reporter asked while holding a microphone to Shadow.
"T-this man here identified himself as The Crawler, he tried to kill the young lady suspended to that crane over there, and posed a threat to innocent civilians. So I stopped him."
"That's lovely. So may we know who you are?"
"I am Shadow."
Immediately, Shadow shot his grappling hook to a high building and then he swung away back home.
"Arrgghhhhhh!!"
Jason screamed out as he first of all took off the mask and threw it across the room.
He did the same for each piece of the suit, before falling on the couch.
Face and chest down as he was trying to control his breath and stopping himself from crashing out.
