"Jess, for Moon's sake, wake up!" Jaxon says, exasperated but clearly worried. "Seriously, whether you like it or not, today we're taking you to the doctor. You keep saying tomorrow, and when tomorrow comes, you say you meant the next tomorrow!"
He yanks the sheets off Jess like he's done it a hundred times.
"Yeah! And today we're carrying you there if we have to," Jayson adds, already tugging Jess's arm to pull him up.
Jess groans and buries deeper into the bed. "Nooo… One second, pleaaaase…" he drags out his words sleepily.
"That's what you've been saying for like an hour now," Jaxon says, arms crossed and foot tapping.
Jess finally sits up, blinking like the light offends him. He rubs at his eyes, hair sticking out wildly. "Guys," he mumbles, "I told you. I don't want to go to the hospital. I already said I'm fine."
"Women go to the hospital when they're pregnant, even if they feel fine," Jayson says, frowning as he picks up a hoodie from the floor.
