Hang Woo stared at Ji Won's hand. The pattern becoming more and more interesting to him especially since it wasn't normal that a first year would suddenly get cursed.
"You know brat." He began, his voice like grinding stones. "People like you, they don't emit any Harmonious Mana. Only Chaotic Mana comes off from you. You're a walking Dungeon trigger."
He trailed off, seeing the final year students—including the club leaders and Baek Yoosung—stand a few meters away, having gathered due to the guards alerting everyone of the dungeon gate.
Most of them were afraid—but Baek Yoosung, along with Hae Kwan and another student, a rather slim and tall one who had long black hair and eyes. His expression hardened as he noticed the curse on Ji Won's hand.
Hang Woo raised an eyebrow looking at each of the students one by one—his gaze alone making most of them take a step back. Since after all, even without his massive mana—he was a giant towering over all.
"You all. The final test will be taken now, it won't be a written test. It'll be a Dungeon Clearing test. Are you all ready?"
The students were absolutely dumbfounded at the spontaneous decision that the principal had just taken—it wasn't like him to change plans so suddenly and turn the test a whole 180 degrees.
"It's because we have a cursed student here, and as we all know—a cursed student may cause dungeon instability and may cause the difficulty to rise exponentially."
Dae Youngjae clarified quickly—not wanting the students to just fall in a pit of despair since this wasn't an illusion which they could be saved by a teacher like Ji-hye, this was a real dungeon. Spawned from their very own stress and anger.
Ji Won felt the students glare at him—especially the strange look the young man with long hair, he was staring at Ji Won like the first year had just murdered his parents or something.
'What the hell is that guy staring at me for? What'd I do?!'
Baek Yoosung walked over to Hang Woo still holding Ji Won like an animal by the wrist. His annoyance was evident—but also. His eyes, even though barely a day had passed since his brawl with the club leaders. They were even grayer than before.
"That's my club member, I'd prefer if you let go of him. Principal."
Hang Woo was silent. Not responding—either he was feeling pity for Baek Yoosung's failing eye sight or he felt angry at a student trying to order him around. No in between's.
"Oh? A cub trying to order a lion? Interesting.."
Surprisingly, Hang Woo did let go of Ji Won who fell to the ground—his wrist feeling like it was paralyzed. And it truly was, Hang Woo's grip was so vice-like that it cut off the circulation to his hand, which was now completely blue.
Baek Yoosung sighed softly, looking at his friend's blue hand with a frown—he probably was also annoyed at Hang Woo. But he couldn't do anything about that after all.
"Ji Won. You're on my team now. No need to go in other dungeons."
Ji Won looked up at him with a small grateful smile—he had been searching for an excuse to not go in every dungeon- Wait. Dungeons?
Indeed—there were now many more dungeons that had sprouted merely out of no where, Hang Woo was looking at each one of them with upturned lips of satisfaction.
"Thanks to you're mere presence cursed kid—the Chaotic Mana is condensing much faster than it normally would have, these are all B-rank dungeons. And the C-rank one. It's now an BA-rank."
Ji-hye mumbled something under his breath. Unintelligible but definitely something about Hang Woo shoving students into threats that they couldn't handle.
Dae Youngjae took in a deep breath before exhaling through his nose. Calming his frayed nerves down a bit—but he still a bit nervous when it came to Hang Woo.
"Sir. I think keeping student Hyuk Ji Won outside the dungeons would be a bit better. He'll be attracting too much Chaotic Mana.."
Hang Woo's eyes flickered towards Dae Youngjae just for a moment—a curious expression on his face. Eyes a bit narrowed.
"Hm? Really? Well.. You're right, but still. I want a Sealing Bracelet to be put on him—get Beon Kyung-Mi to get one."
Ji Won breathed a big sigh of relief—one that he didn't realize he was holding. But before he could be led away by Dae Youngjae. The tall student that was previously glaring at him stepped in front of him.
"I'm not letting you leave."
Dae Youngjae's lips pursed into a thin line as he took a step forward. Squaring up with the student.
"Tak Jum. Step away. You might be from a prestigious home but I will not hold back while punching your face into the ground."
Tak Jum wasn't deterred by Dae Youngjae's threat—after all. Even if Dae Youngjae carried out what he said. He would definitely become a target of his family.
"You really want to make an enemy of The Eastern Guild?"
Dae Youngjae had to hold himself back from just mauling Tak Jum to a pulp—but thankfully, Ji-hye stepped in between them. Putting a hand on both Dae Youngjae as well as Tak Jum's chest. Stopping them from getting closer.
"Tak Jum. Detention for you. Dae Youngjae. You just stay with Hang Woo. I'll take Ji Won to Kyung-Mi."
Dae Youngjae was trying his absolute best to keep calm—he always hated these spoiled brats with amazing talents but with mediocre hard work.
"Fine.."
He said before curtly turning away from Tak Jum. Giving the student a small sharp glare before leaving towards Hang Woo who was busy getting students into squads.
Baek Yoosung noticed Ji Won walking away—feeling a bit melancholic since this would be the last time he would see Ji Won for quite a while.
"Oi, Ji Won."
He called out, watching as Ji Won turned around.
"The Copying Club. Its fate is up to you and Jaehyun. I don't mind you guys moving into my dorm permanently. Just don't embarrass me."
Ji Won gave a grin and a thumbs up gesture to Baek Yoosung who returned it with a very specific gesture with a particular finger before he walked into the dungeon all alone—planning on clearing it.
Ji Won stared at the swirling dungeon gate for a few more moments—feeling a bit bummed out since he didn't get the chance to understand Baek Yoosung too much. But even then—in the short amount of time he knew the legend.
Baek Yoosung was deserving of his title of The Perfect Mirror.
