Chapter 10 - Rescue (1)

Axel tracked the van's location, his system providing him with real-time updates. He knew he had to act fast if he was going to rescue the girl. As he spotted the van driving down a deserted road, Axel saw his chance. He hijacked a nearby bike and sped towards the van, timing his move perfectly.

As he overtook the van, Axel pretended that the bike had been damaged in the process, feigning anger and frustration. He flagged down the van, and the driver, annoyed by the sudden interruption, pulled over.

"What's your problem, kid?" the driver growled, rolling down the window.

"This bike is ruined because of you!" Axel exclaimed, pointing to the bike's supposed damage. "You're going to pay for this. I demand compensation!"

The driver sighed, rubbing his temples. "Look, kid, we didn't even touch you. You're just being a nuisance."

The two men began to argue, their voices escalating. The kidnappers in the back of the van, thinking Axel was just a pesky bystander, decided to take him hostage.

"Enough of this," one of the kidnappers said, jumping out of the van. "We'll take care of this little troublemaker."

They grabbed Axel, tossing him into the back of the van. Axel's eyes met the girl's as he was thrown into the van. She looked surprised to see him, but Axel just gave her a subtle nod.

"Great, just what we need," one of the kidnappers muttered, looking at Axel with disdain. "Another mouth to feed."

The kidnapper who seemed to be in charge, a burly man with a thick beard, sneered at Axel. "You think you're tough, kid? You think you can just demand compensation from us? You're just a foolish little boy who's in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Axel pretended to struggle, trying to break free from their restraints. But in reality, he was just biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As the van continued to drive, Axel took stock of his surroundings. The girl was sitting across from him, her eyes fixed on his. He could see the fear in her eyes, but he also saw a glimmer of determination.

The kidnapper with the beard, whose name was Victor, watched Axel with a mixture of curiosity and annoyance. "You're a feisty one, aren't you?" he said, sneering at Axel. "Well, we'll break you soon enough."

Axel gave Victor a defiant look, playing the part of the scared but feisty teenager. But in reality, he was just waiting for the perfect moment to take down the kidnappers and rescue the girl.

The van drove for what felt like hours, the tension inside growing thicker by the minute. Axel could feel the girl's eyes on him, and he knew she was waiting for him to make his move. He just had to be patient, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As the van finally came to a stop, Axel's senses went on high alert. He knew this was it – the moment he had been waiting for. He would take down the kidnappers and rescue the girl, all in one swift motion.

But for now, he would just have to wait, playing the part of the captive until the time was right. Axel's eyes locked onto the girl's, and he gave her a subtle nod. It was time to put his plan into action.

The kidnappers climbed out of the van, discussing their next move in hushed tones. Axel watched them, his mind racing with possibilities. He knew he had to act fast, before they decided to move the girl or harm her in any way.

As the kidnappers opened the van door to grab some supplies, Axel's eyes met the girl's once again. He gave her a reassuring smile, trying to calm her down. The girl smiled back, a hint of trust in her eyes.

Axel's heart swelled with determination. He would get them out of this situation, no matter what it took. The time for action was near, and Axel was ready.
