Next morning
The next day before the sun really hung on the sky, the training session of the new soldiers started and on the middle of it-Ariana.
" Give your soul on it. And if there is anyone who think they are weak then they can go because there is no place for losers on the battle field. If you really want to become a soldier then aside your fear and weak mindset because no one born with skills and courage but everyone have so don't let the fear surface your mind, got it?" Ariana declared, voice low but deadly calm.
On the other side of the palace, Aria was with Arnold on his study room. He handed her many books to read. Some of them was of his Ancestors, the history of Aksum kingdom and some of them was about politics and royalty.
"Here you are. Something huge is coming Aria and you has to take the responsibility of it" Arnold said, placing one more book beside her on the table.
"What?" She blinked. " I know King Alessendra is about to attack on us but something more dangerous! What is it?"
"And i am also not going to join the war so how could i take the responsibility of it?" she whistled.
"Don't worry Aria, you have a more important thing to handle".
Aiden, Rowan, Ana, and Mary was also a part of the training session. Nolan was with Aria, he was also given the task of reading the books.
In the evening, Ariana and Arnold crossed their path first time after the kiss.
She said nothing and going straight towards her room like she was really ignoring him.
"Hey Ariana!" Arnold approached. And then, she really, really saw him in his eyes and again she remembered the kiss and suddenly turn her head around but arnold grab her wrist, gently.
"Hey! What happened with you? I saw you are ignoring me from the morning." He asked, calm, voice just above a whisper.
"Nothing" she replied turning back to him with a polite smile which was not reaching her eyes.
"You are thinking about the kiss, right?" he asked releasing her wrist. " I am sorry for that. I don't know what happened with me on that time and i… i kiss you but-"
"Never bring those things again" she interupt. " they don't…matter"
" So you are still angry with me for what i did, huh?"
"No, i am angry with myself that i let it happened" she said, really looking into his eyes before turning to go.
And Arnold, he stood there. Looking the empty place where she was just standing. A flicker of guilt in his eyes which said everything even his words didn't.
One week passed after that but Ariana and Arnold still fighting with their emotions. And now they both are ready for the attack of koch dynasty.
" Aria, take care of yourself and the two of them" pointing towards Ana and Mary.
" Sister, i promise to take good care of tjem. Aria vowed, hands on her chest.
" Aria, you asked me that why i wanted you to interfere in state work. So now because i am giving you a very big responsibility-to take care of this kingdom." Arnold declared and everyone was shocked and happy on the same time.
"Not only Aksum but also Minoan" Ariana said.
"But i don't think i can and i am just 14 now. Will people really follow my orders?" Aria asked.
"Strength and maturity never come by age Aria but from the responsibilities we take" Ariana said. " And you can do-we all believe in you."
"But…"
"Don't forgot you are the daughter of a brave commander Aria, You are the daughter of King Maynard and queen Andres, and …you are my sister. " Ariana said, sharply this time, as if reminding Aria the responsibilities she has to bear.
" Thanks for beliving on me sister. I promised to give my soul into it but never let the kingdoms to fall." Aria declared.
" We know you do" Arnold said.
Then Ariana turned to Ana and Mary "promise me, you two help your Anny and never bother her."
" We promise, Mom, take care of yourself" Ana said.
"We will miss you and fatjer. Try to come back soon, ok?" Mary asked.
" Yeah, we will" Ariana said cupping Mary's cheek.
" What about us? Don't say that you two are not going to miss me and Rowan" Aiden teased.
"Yeah, ofcourse" Ana replied.
" Now, you are more strong than before so never stop making yourself more strong and powerful" Ariana said.
"We will do but promise me when we will meet again, you took me on war" Aria said.
"Don't say that. Say when we meet again, the war will be already vanished" Ariana replied.
"Aria, if something happened bad and big which you couldn't able to deal with, then send someone to call me. I will definitely come" Arnold said, putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Ok. This is a very big responsibility and i am honored that you think me as capable to take over it and gave me the chance and also also believed in me. So don't worry, i wil never dissapiont you.
"I am proud of you" Arnold said.
"Aria, i will be not here so from now on, Nolan help you on states work" Allen said.
" It will be my honour to serve you princess" Nolan said.
"Don't be so formal, we are friends and you can call me by my name. It's truth that the king of Minoan's adopt me but i am their daughter. Sister is their real heir and cron princess, she is the empress."
" Hey! What are you saying. You have equal rights as mine and you are my sister. You, Aiden and Rowan are my family. So never say it again in the future and Nolan, take care of her." Ariana said.
"I will,your majesty "
"And don't forgot we are siblings even if we are not comnected by blood. But the bond matter between us" Aiden hugged her."You always will be my little rabbit" he teased.
"Anyway, this tone not suit on you. Just become the one who you are" Ariana said, smiling.
" Then let me say it- you are our sister, no matter what, we will always protect you" Rowan said, hugging both of them.
