Many people didn't grasp that the Abomination's rampage, seemingly a dangerous but temporarily contained display of madness, had actually ignited the ambitions of most malevolent individuals. It had shown that those with extraordinary powers could openly wreak havoc under the global spotlight, declaring their strength to the entire planet without restraint.
People had always known about dangerous groups like the Brotherhood of Mutants, but they generally felt these threats were distant. From this moment on, that comforting distance would vanish. A truly intense era of chaotic, devilish displays had begun.
Boom, boom, boom!
The Abomination crashed through countless obstacles, including towering buildings and vehicles, stumbling back to the laboratory. Even in his fragmented mind, he knew this was dangerous. The logical move would have been to flee the busy area immediately and then contact Ross privately to negotiate. They could easily blame everything that happened tonight on the Hulk and then collaborate to continue attacking him for greater benefit. But tragically, the Abomination's IQ felt like it was exploding. He stubbornly clung to the belief that only more serum could increase his strength and restore his dignity.
The Abomination frantically searched the shattered laboratory.
"If you're looking for that big, headed doll, he's hiding over three hundred meters from here, observing everything."
Enzer stepped out of the darkness, where he had been waiting for the Abomination.
"You! You've been waiting for me?" Rage distorted the Abomination's ugly face as he saw Enzer.
"Yes, I've been observing you, and I knew you would return here," Enzer confirmed. He didn't need his eyes to see; he simply sensed the alien within the Abomination, pinpointing his location.
The moment Enzer revealed himself meant the time was ripe. He had initially thought it would take longer for an alien parasitizing a strong individual like the Abomination to grow to the point of chest, bursting. He hadn't anticipated the growth rate would be even faster than expected. Perhaps it was due to the Abomination's genes, or some of the Hulk's genes he'd acquired, being too powerful, accelerating the alien's development in a remarkably short time. Additionally, the Abomination's body was a top, tier breeding ground, rich in flesh, blood, and energy.
"You know, in the dozens of minutes between when I attacked you and now, I've imagined countless times what would happen next." Enzer meticulously observed the monster's distorted face as it stumbled towards him, focusing on its chest. "Compared to you, vampires are nothing."
The Abomination didn't comprehend Enzer's words. He only knew something was horribly wrong with his condition. It wasn't that his dull, numb nerves had become sensitive; it was purely Enzer's presence that coincided with an exaggerated bulge appearing in his chest. If the Abomination hadn't possessed incredibly dense muscles and skin, an ordinary person would have already had the alien burst forth from their body with this level of physical change.
"You did this? What in hell did you do to me?!" The Abomination looked down at himself in disbelief. He tried to grab the swelling, but the fingers that could crush steel exerted only a fraction of their force, and he felt excruciating pain throughout his body, as if he were pinching his own vital organs. It was an incredibly bizarre sensation. He remembered the strange, spider, like creature and vaguely grasped the core of the problem.
"No matter what this thing is, I hate it! I am the strongest being on this planet! I will not die!"
"No, you will die."
Enzer stepped closer. "Don't treat the alien as an ordinary parasite. The moment it bursts from your chest, it means it has perfectly assimilated the genetic material in your body, replaced your internal organs and spine, and become a part of you. Once it breaks out, a piece of your body is permanently severed. Your weakened self, healing ability cannot repair the missing organs, not to mention no one's body can automatically regenerate an already intact organ." The Abomination's remains would also become sustenance for the alien.
"ROAR!" Hatred blazed in the Abomination's blood, green eyes, cruelty and fear coexisting, as he weakly swung his arms down. Just one punch, he thought, could obliterate the small figure before him.
Bang!
Enzer raised his arms and blocked it, though at the cost of his legs sinking halfway into the floor. A significant amount of muscle ruptured on impact, strained beyond its limit, and the bones in his body suffered multiple fractures. But he held his ground, and all his injuries began to heal rapidly. As for why Enzer, seemingly a mere mortal, could withstand such an attack, the reason was simple: he also harbored a perpetually dormant alien inside his own body.
"Puff!"
With a loud, sickening explosion, the Abomination's chest violently ruptured, sending blood spraying in all directions, indicating the terrifying internal pressure. The Abomination's massive body twitched violently, his remaining sliver of sanity gazing in horror at the thing emerging from his flesh. This was beyond the limits of his meager imagination. It was as if some horrific devil had used his body as a cocoon to be born.
And as soon as it appeared, it revealed its utterly brutal nature, shaking its head violently, bathing in blood and gore, and letting out piercing shrieks. This alien was incredibly strong at birth, standing nearly two meters tall. While this might not seem significant, other types of aliens were still larvae upon the chest, bursting, extremely small and requiring several hours of rapid growth to mature into two or three, meter, tall adults. Enzer assessed the condition of this powerful alien, confirming that not only was it born with considerable strength, but its development speed would be even faster. Perhaps it wouldn't take hours, but mere dozens of minutes, to achieve formidable combat power.
As for the Abomination…
He was rapidly dying.
Just as Enzer had predicted, after the alien matured and burst forth, it had absorbed the finest genes from the Abomination's body and genetically severed its parasitic link. Even with the Abomination's self healing ability, he could only watch helplessly as the gaping hole in his chest failed to close. None of the key organs in his now empty chest cavity regenerated, as if they had simply vanished.
His eyes, bulging with hatred, stared fixedly ahead. He weakly stretched out his hands, attempting to crush the horrifying monster that had crawled out of his body. But what greeted him was the creature's gaping mouth, its inner fangs extending faster than bullets, piercing through the Abomination's head with a single, brutal strike.
Guziguzi!
It devoured his flesh in massive gulps, seizing every second to replenish its nutrition.
