"Ok, so we learned so far that to the south are the Savage Wolves F+, and that these wolves are really fast. We need to find out what is to the West and see if anyone else picked up any juicy gossip from the guards." Xavier said as he and Mickey made their way through the rows of prisoners. They have been doing this for an hour, looking for any prisoner that might want to talk, but the only one they found so far, was a woman named Rosie, who seemed to unaffiliated with anyone. Also, the other reason why it took so long is because they stopped to observe a spectacular scene, the Warden using the Orb of Eldara.
He had a monster stone in one hand, and placed his other hand on the orb. The monster stone disappeared in sparks that flew into the orb, and Warden started to write something on his notebook.
"Things would be so much easier if we could just steal the Warden's notes." Mickey muttered under his breath and Xavier looked at him before nodding his head.
"You're right, but that is too dangerous." Xavier said, as they continued to search for someone who looked like they would talk, but with no luck. It seemed like everyone else was apart of a gang, making them unwilling to talk. Gensin Capital Prison had over a thousand gangs inside it and although most of them were not here, and not all the members of anyone gang was here, their presence was still strong.
"Attention prisoners!!!" The Warden shouted, and all the prisoners stopped what they were doing and looked at the Warden who was standing infront of the orb.
"Today, we will give you the privilege of using the Orb of Eldara to purchase whatever you want." The Warden said and all the prisoners looked at him in shock. They had all heard the Zelda of the Ashari said, they could buy weapons, armour and items with their points. And this raised the question, why would the guards give us weapons?
"The only reason they would give us weapons is if they have a way of preventing us from using the weapons against them." Mickey said with a scowl
"Or the weapons have terrible quality." Xavier said and Mickey nodded his head
"Four lines everyone!!!" The Warden said and everyone quickly formed the lines. It took three hours before Xavier reached the front, with Mickey right behind him. They could see people exiting the line with wooden clubs, copper swords, knives and axes. There were a few who walked off with a single piece of leather armour. Xavier frowned, as he realized that the guards were really taking a risk, even if it wasn't a big one, considering no one was walking around with a gun. When it was his turn, Xavier placed his hand on the orb and an interface opened infront of his eyes, and he could see an assortment of weapons, armour and items. The most expensive weapons, armour and items cost fifty points, which he thought was odd. Looking over the items one more time, Xavier didn't buy anything, choosing to save his points. As he walked past, Mickey frowned and touched the orb, and looked through items on display. He saw many that he liked, but he remained indecisive after seeing that Xavier didn't buy anything. He knew Xavier wasn't an idiot, which means he either knew something he didn't, or had a plan.
'Damn it.' Mickey thought with gritted teeth, before leaving and not buying anything, marching over to Xavier.
"Why didn't you buy anything?" He asked Xavier, and Xavier looked at him with a confused look, as he noticed he didn't buy anything either.
"Why didn't you?" He asked back
"I asked you first." Mickey said irritatedly and Xavier looked around to make sure no one ease dropping, but he noticed that everyone was busy admiring their new toys.
"Currently, we have a limited amount of points and I doubt the guards are generous enough to give us monster stones to trade for points. So I think, the best thing to do is use the points to increase our attributes. If we want weapons, we can always go to the east and get it from those goblins or take it from the dead body of one of these idiots." Xavier shrugged and Mickey looked at him in shock, as he himself hadn't thought about that.
"Wait, you figured out how to increase your attributes?" Mickey asked, but Xavier only gave him a mysterious smile, which irritated him even more.
"Your turn, why didn't you buy any weapons?" Xavier asked
"None of your business." Mickey snapped and Xavier shrugged again
