Xiandre pointed his sword at Lucifer as the entire floor cracked and shook. The roof split open, and the entire mansion was cut in half, separating Xiandre and Amelia once again.
"It's time to finally fight a worthy opponent. It's been a while," Lucifer said with a grin.
"Amelia!" Xiandre shouted.
"I'll be fine! I'll take care of Leviathan!" she replied.
Xiandre turned back to Lucifer, who pulled a black blade from his mouth.
"This sword is the original version of the one you're holding," Lucifer said.
"I see. So you're saying mine is just a copy?" Xiandre asked.
"Well, yes. But honestly, your sword might be a copy, yet its sharpness and toughness rival the original," Lucifer explained.
"Doesn't matter. I'm escaping this place with Amelia. There's nothing in Hell that can stop me. After that, I'm going to kill that goddess who summoned us here," Xiandre declared.
"Haha! You really hold a grudge against that princess and the goddess, huh?"
"Me? No. You've got it wrong. I'm not doing this for revenge. I'm doing this because now I have a reason. I don't care about vengeance. I care about judgement. In other words, I kill criminals—just like I did in my past world. Some called me a hero, others a monster for killing people they thought deserved forgiveness."
"Hmm. Sounds like you're saying the world is no better. Cruel, unfair... and you're right," Lucifer replied. "The world has no equality. I would know—I'm the devil."
"Imagine a rich, 32-year-old man. Popular. Influential. He rapes and murders a 14-year-old girl. And what happens? He gets two years in prison. Meanwhile, a poor Black man robs a bank. No one's hurt. No violence. He just needed money to survive. He gets twenty years. Or life." Xiandre continued
"It wasn't the poor man's fault. He was desperate. But the rich one buys his way out. Why was my father sentenced to life for robbery, while my sister's killer walks free after two years?"
Xiandre's voice was calm and stoic.
"My sister was raped and murdered. And my mother killed herself because of it. I was left alone… grieving… surviving. And people still called me the criminal? Haha... AHAHAHA..."
Lucifer's grin widened. "And yet, you became a murderer. You cut off the rapist's balls and made him eat them. Cut off his fingers... laughed while you tortured him. Smiling Reaper—most wanted criminal of your time. I know everything. Because I am the Devil. Omniscient. All-seeing. Fallen god!"
But before he could continue, a sword pierced his chest.
Xiandre stabbed Lucifer straight through the heart. "Let's just get this over with, shall we?"
Lucifer coughed up blood, grunting in pain. He kicked Xiandre, but Xiandre backed away in time.
"You're one to talk—you just gave me a monologue!" Lucifer spat.
They both charged. Swords clashed. Xiandre ducked under a swing and slashed upward. Lucifer dodged and countered, aiming for Xiandre's neck.
Xiandre blocked and slammed his helmet into Lucifer's face, sending him flying. Xiandre struck at his waist, but Lucifer split in half before the blade landed. His severed halves regenerated into two Lucifers.
Both Lucifers charged. Xiandre held his ground, parrying every blow.
"Configuration procedure... SYSTEM!" Xiandre shouted. A glowing system window opened before him, creating a barrier.
"I command you—fight each other!" he ordered.
One Lucifer obeyed. The other resisted.
Knowing which one was real, Xiandre rushed at the unaffected one with his controlled duplicate. The original Lucifer's body turned red and exploded, killing the fake and hurling Xiandre back. The true Lucifer emerged with black wings, rising into the air.
Lucifer summoned black fire, launching it at Xiandre, who dodged with ease. Portals opened beneath Lucifer, releasing the black knights from earlier.
Xiandre raised his sword and unleashed a massive red slash, obliterating the knights. As the smoke cleared, Lucifer flew out, charging.
Their blades met again, and Lucifer summoned more black swords. Xiandre blocked them, slashing in every direction, but Lucifer joined the onslaught, igniting the entire battlefield.
Xiandre leapt high, stepping through clouds he conjured beneath his feet. Lucifer's sword burned with hellfire, and as their blades met again, Xiandre's weapon began to boil.
Despite the searing pain, Xiandre gritted his teeth, kicked Lucifer into his own flames, and sent the summoned swords after him.
Pierced and bleeding, Lucifer rose. Black tentacles erupted from the ground, lunging at Xiandre, who danced between them midair.
Lucifer yanked out the blades, only to have his right arm sliced off by Xiandre.
More knights charged. Xiandre landed on the burning ground, enduring the searing pain, sword ready.
The sky of Hell glitched and warped. Tentacles, skeletons, flames, and chaos surrounded him. Xiandre cut through them all. Lucifer attacked with a burning trident, missed, and Xiandre countered—but the Devil blocked.
Lucifer kicked Xiandre hard, knocking him back. A laser shot from the sky narrowly missed him.
Skeletons tried to drag him down. Xiandre sliced through them. Lucifer manipulated gravity—nothing happened.
"Insta Kill! Heart Grasp! Death Blast!" Lucifer shouted. The spells hit—but Xiandre stood, unscathed.
More blades, more knights, more chaos.
Giant hands reached from the depths. Xiandre darted between them, slashing as he advanced.
Lucifer regenerated his arm and hurled his trident.
It pierced Xiandre's chest, pinning him to the wall.
Blood dripped. Xiandre struggled.
But he was far from finished.
Xiandre took the trident out of his chest. Breathing heavily, he looked Lucifer dead in the eyes.
There Lucifer stood—his eyes black, his mouth open, and his tongue hanging. On his tongue was another mouth; it swirled and twisted grotesquely.
"You're much stronger than the rest of the rulers," Xiandre exclaimed.
Lucifer charged at Xiandre, kicking him in the chest. Xiandre was thrown out of the mansion, vomiting blood inside his helmet as he crashed into the middle of the street in the city of Hell.
All the sinners panicked, scattering and running in fear.
Lucifer came flying out of his mansion, charging at Xiandre while holding his burning trident.
He launched at Xiandre from the sky, but Xiandre rolled to the side just in time to dodge him.
Lucifer slammed into the ground, and a massive explosion erupted.
Xiandre stood back up as the ground spat out lava and fire.
Lucifer charged out of the smoke from the explosion, his arms now long and powerful.
He swiped his massive limbs at Xiandre, but Xiandre dodged with ease. The sky glitched and opened as a massive dragon with three heads emerged.
The dragon blasted the ground, and Xiandre could only endure the blow.
The dragon continued to spew red flames at him. Xiandre fell to his knees, enduring the pain.
Despite the onslaught, Xiandre forced himself back to his feet.
Lucifer was unaffected by the flames of his hydra as he charged at Xiandre, both of them burning in the dragon's fire.
Xiandre blocked with his sword as Lucifer thrust his trident at him. They clashed under the dragon's fire, with Xiandre slowly being cooked alive.
The sinners around them burned; others died again despite already being dead. The blast from the dragon was enormous, destroying the center of the city.
Xiandre remained standing. He swiped his sword at Lucifer, but Lucifer dodged and threw his trident again. Xiandre was hit in the chest, but he tanked the blow and charged at the now-unarmed Lucifer.
Lucifer punched the ground, and thorns sprawled out, stabbing Xiandre across his body.
Gritting his teeth, Xiandre forced his body forward, breaking through the thorns. He grabbed Lucifer and struck him with both hands at such high speed that Lucifer was caught off guard.
Xiandre smashed his helmet into Lucifer's head repeatedly. Lucifer screamed in pain as blood spilled, until he finally escaped Xiandre's grasp and teleported several meters away.
Half of Lucifer's head was shattered, his brain exposed. Xiandre's blood boiled as the hydra finally stopped blasting and flew down toward him.
Xiandre swiftly ran toward Lucifer, catching him off guard again. He grabbed him by the legs and hurled him up toward his dragon.
The hydra was struck in the chest as Lucifer pierced out its back. Its heart was shattered from the impact, and it fell to the ground dead. Lucifer continued flying into the sky.
Xiandre jumped up and immediately reached Lucifer, punching him in the face and sending him hurtling downward.
Xiandre followed him down, punching continuously as they plummeted. When they landed, another explosion erupted.
Both emerged from the smoke, swinging their weapons at each other.
Xiandre blocked with his sword as Lucifer slashed with his trident. The two continued their bloodbath.
Xiandre pierced Lucifer's chest with his sword repeatedly, then punched him in the face with such force that it launched Lucifer several miles away. He crashed through several buildings, which then collapsed on top of him.
Xiandre breathed heavily as blood continuously dripped from his armor, now soaked in crimson. He held his sword tightly.
Lucifer lay under the debris, then jumped out, roaring in pain.
His body was destroyed. His ribs and bones were exposed, and half of his brain was open.
"Shit, shit, shit—he's fucking strong!!" Lucifer blurted out in pain, gasping.
He flew into the air and summoned a massive black hole in the sky.
From Xiandre's perspective, it immediately glowed ominously as it began consuming the sinners, buildings, and even the ground itself.
Lucifer then grabbed the black hole and charged at Xiandre with immense speed, reaching him in a second.
He threw a punch at Xiandre, who dodged—only to be struck by the black hole as it slipped inside his armor.
It exploded inside, blood splattering everywhere within his suit.
Lucifer summoned a massive horde of black knights surrounding Xiandre. Yet Xiandre remained on his feet.
The horde charged at him, and Xiandre fought off everything in his path.
Lucifer joined his army as Xiandre faced one hundred thousand summoned enemies—alone.
